THE HEAD is done! // Hand-drawn animated short

After 4 months of hard work, thinking how this crazy story could get the end, drawing and drawing a little every day, coloring and adjusting a LOT of details, Dante and I finally pressed the Render button to make our first full hand-drawn animated short.
Hope you enjoy watching this piece as we enjoyed to do it. We wanted to get a target: just to make a cartoon old-school style.
Special mention to Gary (Ariel Gandolfo), who made this great Sound Design. It was a very hard and wonderful challenge for us.
Hope to get strenght to make the second short soon!
And thanks people for visit the clip thousands of times just the first week. :)

Miao Show Opens November 14th! Subtext store, San Diego, CA
Subtext has teamed up with Zakkamono, to bring you an incredible custom vinyl show just in time for the holidays. The format will be the new Miao (Lucky Cat & Mousubi), and we have curated nearly 50 artists from around the globe to do custom versions of this great toy! Miao is the first collectible designer vinyl figure designed by Zakka. It is an updated design of the Japanese Maneki Neko/Lucky Cat (an iconic Japanese figure that brings good luck and good fortune). Miao measures 7-inches tall and comes with his BFF Mousubi, a 3-inch character designed with the elements of a musubi/onigiri (Japanese rice ball wrapped with Nori/seaweed) and a mouse.
